Implant Retained Dentures
Dental Implants have greatly revolutionized the security and function of traditional dentures. Your new implant retained denture by Ellis Family Dentistry will be held in place by two to four titanium implants. This greatly improves your denture’s stability and function and drastically increases your chewing force over that of a traditional denture. Implants also help prevent bone loss after tooth removal, maintaining your facial aesthetics and profile. This denture is retained by implants and supported by your soft tissue. It is a removable solution that you will still take out on a daily basis.
Implant Hybrid Fixed (Non-Removable) Restorations
For those who wish to have a fixed, non-removable solution for missing teeth, we are able to offer the Fixed Hybrid Implant Restoration. This full arch restoration replaces all of the teeth in the upper, lower, or both. It is somewhat like a bridge and somewhat like an Implant Retained Denture, hence the term “Hybrid.”
Your new implant supported hybrid prosthesis by Ellis Family Dentistry will be secured by four to six titanium dental implants and a custom milled permanent prosthesis, reinforcing your new smile with strength and function that mimics natural teeth. Implants also help prevent bone loss after tooth removal, maintaining your facial aesthetics and profile.
Your prosthesis will be held in place, so it stays in your mouth AT ALL TIMES including eating and sleeping. If the prosthesis needs to be removed for cleaning, it can only be removed by your dentist.
This prosthesis is supported by your implants, so we are able to lift it higher off of your soft tissue for added comfort and ease of cleaning.
At Ellis Family Dentistry, we are able to perform both the surgical and restoration implant phases for most cases right here at our office. Dr. Jonathan is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, a world-renowned organization for dental implant education and practice.
